New Innovations at Capsule Trade Show

Hey guys, just had to share this with you. I think it's time for some of that promised "lifestyle".

So a few days ago, I went to Capsule's Men's Trade Show, in Chelsea. It was actually pretty boring. There were only a few companies I liked, because of their new ideas and takes on men's fashion. The one thing that really bothers me in the realm of men's fashion is the fact that everything is pretty much the same. I mean, what else can you really do with it? You have your shirt, tee, trousers...not much to work with. However, to get past that, you really have to dive into what makes up that shirt or trouser, and start from there. You need a new concept, and branch out.

That's where The Perfect Tangent comes in. The Perfect Tangent is a new clothing company that strives to re-invent menswear, while keeping it's classic roots and functional details that men come to appreciate.  How do they do this? By using the Golden Ratio, of course!

The golden ratio is a number, (1.618034) and is also known as the divine proportion. Mr. Lee (the designer and founder) linked this to the Vitruvian man, drawn by Leonardo da Vinci. It's called the Canon of Proportions, or The Proportions of Man. Using this data, Lee creates clothes with precisely the perfect fit, using algorithms and careful measuring.

All the math pays off as the clothes fit perfectly, and they look awesome! Check out some photos from their lookbook!
I'm going to probably get a sample soon, so when that happens you can check them out in person, and I'll review it!
